10 For 10 Party Program (2011)

The Ten for Ten Party Program is a grassroots fundraising concept involving friends of WSGE and Gaston College. The concept is simple. Ten people are invited to a party that you decide to host. With each of the 10 people contributing a minimum of $10, one small party could easily yield at least $100 for the station! Our goal is to have 100 parties - potentially raising $10,000!

WSGE’s Ten for Ten Party Program provides an easy way to involve the public through small contributions, plus we can raise awareness about WSGE.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

....

- You will be responsible for throwing a party between now through Monday, October 17, 2011.

....

- You must let us know you are hosting a party by registering on the station website at www.wsge.org .

....

- You organize your party and invite at least 10 guests, and ask them to contribute a minimum of $10.

....

- The station will provide program guides, bumper stickers and a door prize to distribute at your party.

....

- After the party, submit the money you raised by Monday, October 24, 2011. It is important that monies are received by the due date so they can be counted toward the station’s pre-drive goal of $20,000. (The total goal for the fall membership drive is $55,000.)

- Donations can be brought to the station during normal business hours (8 am - 5 pm). The station is located in the Craig Arts & Sciences building on the Dallas

campus of Gaston College in room #115.

- Donations can be mailed to the station. The mailing address is: WSGE Radio, Attn: Cathis Hall, 201 Highway 321 South Dallas, NC 28034.

- Don’t forget to include your party worksheet with information on donors who want a receipt for tax purposes.

- During the on-air drive, we will have times scheduled to acknowledge you and the contributions of your guests. If time permits, some hosts/hostesses will be invited to come to the studio to discuss their party and personally thank their guests.
