WSGE's Volunteer Program

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with WSGE. We offer a unique opportunity for you to be involved in the world of radio. Since 1980, a combination of professional staff, students and volunteers have carried out the work of this public radio station. You can be part of this legacy by joining us. We have many opportunities available to you including administrative tasks, street team member, production jobs and, of course, volunteer announcer!

The first step for all interested persons is to attend a Volunteer Orientation session held throughout the year. The next sessions will both be offered Fall 2025. You are only required to attend one of these. During this time, you can learn more about the station, the opportunities that we offer and how you can be involved. All volunteers are subject to a background check.
