WSGE Celebrates Black History Month

In honor of Black History Month, WSGE will feature a special program that will air every Monday throughout the month of February at 1:00 p.m.

This week’s (2/8) feature is on the successful husband and wife songwriting/production team and recording artists Ashford & Simpson.

WSGE Offers an Announcing Workshop

A free four-week workshop will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2 - 4 p.m. beginning Feb. 23 for those interested in becoming on-air announcers The workshop is limited to ten persons. Preference will be given to persons available to volunteer on weekdays between 7 a.m. - 6 p.m and to those who are familar with WSGE's music genres.

The application deadline is Wednesday, February 17. To apply for this class, download a volunteer application from the web site and send by mail to WSGE, 201 Highway, 321 South, Dallas, N.C. 28034 or bring to station Monday - Friday during business hours (8 a.m. - 5 p.m.)
