Local award-winning bluegrass musicians Darin & Brooke Aldridge bring you a lovely mix of bluegrass gospel each Sunday morning offering classics from the past, as well as new releases from regional and national artists.

Headliners in Review

The R&B House Party

The hosts of this two-hour old-school Rhythm and Blues music mix are Tyrone Jefferson and Toni Tupponce. Jefferson is an award-winning musician and bandleader who served as the music director for James Brown between 1979 – 2006. Currently he is executive director of a Sign of the Times of the Carolinas, a nonprofit dedicated to improving the community through cultural productions and educational programming that positively reflect African Americans. His wife, vocalist Toni Tupponce is the program director of the Sign of the Times of the Carolinas. She is also the owner/president of Tupponce Enterprises II, Inc. – a Charlotte, NC based consulting, training and facilitation firm.

This program airs on Saturday 7:00 PM. – 9:00 PM

The World Cafe

World Cafe is hosted and produced by Raina Douris in Philadelphia at WXPN. It presents interviews and performances with today’s essential and emerging artists.

This program airs Monday – Friday from 2 PM – 3 PM and Monday – Thursday from 10:00 p.m. to midnight.

The Mainstream

The Mainstream is the latest national offering from producer Brett Maybee. This new offering through Native Voice One is a new space for music to mingle. A place where we can reimagine and redefine what the mainstream is and can be.

The program airs Monday – Thursday from 12:00 AM – 5:00 AM
