Glimpses of Gaston

5x7_skinnerdr72-1Gaston College has a rich and vibrant history dating back to 1963. From its humble beginnings, the College has grown into one of the largest community colleges in North Carolina, boasting three campuses—Dallas, Lincoln, and Kimbrell—that serve Gaston and Lincoln Counties.

Throughout its history, the College has remained dedicated to its mission of promoting student success and lifelong learning through high caliber, affordable, and comprehensive educational programs and services responding to economic and workforce development needs.

Glimpses of Gaston is a public affairs program that’s hosted by Gaston College President, Dr. Patricia Skinner that highlights programs  and recognizes the achievements of the college’s faculty and staff.  In the past two years, her topics have included the Study Tours Program, Basic Law Enforcement, Motorcycle Training, Work Based Learning Initiatives, Summer Transfer Credits, Strengthening Academic Internet Learning (SAIL), among others.  Join Dr. Skinner every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 10:15 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. to  learn more about  Gaston College or visit the website at  http://www.gaston.edu.
